Keep sessions short, 5-10 minutes, 4 to 5 times a day is better than 45 minutes – 1 hour in a row. Practice name game to get used to the clicker and get puppy paying attention to you. Click first and treat (make sure you keep your click and treat separate) Do sit-stay and release at least 5 times a day (not all at once). Before meal, when playing, before being petted and for fun. Stay should only be a few seconds at first, and then increase the time very slowly as the puppy is ready.
